Rachelle Durkin is to cover Anna Netrebko in the role of Norina in Donizetti’s DON PASQUALE for the Metropolitan Opera in New York in February.
Elena Xanthoudakis is to cover Diana Damrau in the role of the Countess Adele in Rossini’s LE COMTE ORY for the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Jemmy in Rossini’s GUILLAUME TELL for the BBC Proms, and gala concerts in the UK, Poland and Australia as well as her Wigmore Hall Debut. with performances of both the roles of Lisa and Amina in Bellini’s LA SONNAMBULA at the Royal Opera Covent Garden in the future. In 2012 she will sing Clorinda in Rossini’s LA CENERENTOLA at the Glyndebourne Festival.
