Musical Director of the 2004 Adelaide RING, Asher Fisch, has just been appointed Chief Conductor and Artistic Adviser of the West Australian Symphony Orchestra from 2014. Next year he will conduct the RING in Seattle and PARSIFAL at the Metropolitan Opera, New York.
